1. Getting started
Tap Get Started and sign in with Google or email. That's your parent account — you manage everything here.
Install the app: open vaasi.ai, then Share → Add to Home Screen (iPad) or Chrome ⋮ → Add to Home screen (Android). The home-screen app is where offline reading works best.
2. Add a reader
Add each child with a name and a 4-letter PIN (e.g. bear). Each child gets their own shelf; the PIN is how they sign in.
3. Add books
Tap Browse Books, then add a single book or use Add All on a collection. Books appear on that child's shelf.
4. Offline reading
When you add books (while online), they download automatically to that device so your child can read with no internet.
- ⬇ 3/9 = 3 of 9 downloaded · ✓ Offline = all ready · green ✓ on a book = saved.
- Download all on a set is safe to tap anytime — it resumes and only fetches what's missing.
Downloads happen in the parent view; your child then reads them offline in their own sign-in.
5. Your child signs in
On the home screen, tap Kid Sign In → name + 4-letter PIN. They get a simple read-only shelf, and they stay signed in — they can close and reopen the app (even offline) and go straight to their books.
6. Switching readers & devices
Switch Reader (top of the shelf) returns to sign in as someone else. An account reads on one device at a time — sign in on another device and Vaasi asks if you want to switch to it.
7. Tips
- To test offline, turn Wi-Fi off (not just Airplane Mode — that can leave Wi-Fi on).
- Book won't open offline? Tap Download all on its set while online, then retry.
- New version? Tap Update when it appears; the version shows bottom-right.
